On behalf of Rhode Island Pride, we invite you to celebrate the outstanding "LIVE YOUR TRUTH" accomplishments of members of our local LGBTQIA+ community and our allies at the annual Rhode Island Pride Honors Gala on November 3rd at 6:00pm in the Grand Ballroom at the Providence Marriott Downtown. The event will feature performances from local drag queens, a cocktail hour with music by DJ Mario and a cash bar.
AWARDS & HONOREES
This year we are honoring long-time Rhode Island Pride volunteer JEN STEVENS with the PYRAMID OF PRIDE Award for her lifelong commitment to the Rhode Island LGBTQIA+ community. Jen has spent her entire career advocating for the queer community and has also been a long-time volunteer for Rhode Island Pride and is a former member of our Board of Directors as well as the co-producer of the Goddess Show and is the current Editor of Options Magazine.
YOLANDI will receive the SPIRIT OF PRIDE award for their continued commitment and dedication to Rhode Island Pride and the broader LGBTQIA+ community. Yolandi is a community activist who is never afraid of using their voice to advocate for others.
In addition to those awardees, RI Pride will also present Volunteer of the Year Award to Paul Biello, Rookie Volunteer of the Year to Wini Lambrecht, PrideFest MVP Award to Ostin Linnehan and new this year our Parade MVP Award to Allison Alder. Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization and we can't do anything without their love, support, and dedication.
In addition to our community awards this year, We will also present the awards for the Annual Illuminated Night Parade.
